I like the top! But personally I don’t like the bottom.  Those puffy, bubbly layers always tend to remind me of down comforters…like duvets.

I think it’s dramatic and of-the-moment, with that bubble-ish hem and the tiers.

What do YOU think of it? 🙂

Honestly I’m not a huge fan of the skirt, but if you love it that is all that matters.

What does the front look like?

@amandajohill: Are you already married? Is this for a vow renewal?  For a friend?

Not my style but like it better than the first version you showed us.

This is one hell of a dress for a vowel renewal, IMO – but hey, go for it!

very pretty but one thing i realized after trying on a few dresses is that some of them that have volume are super pretty but would make for a nightmare to walk around in or dance in all night long…

I don’t love it.

If you don’t want to be cookie cutter, then I would avoid bubble hems and pickups.

I do like the top of the dress..but I’m not a fan of the bottom. Doesn’t it kind of resemble a down comforter?? But, what I think doesn’t matter..if you love it go for it!! It’s important for YOU to love YOUR dress..and don’t let anyone talk to you out of one you love.

@amandajohill:  I love the skirt.  I think its very 1700s, Marie Antoinette era.  I personally prefer that type of skirt to the new “fit and flare” thing.  But the question is, how does it look on you?  If it doesn’t flatter your body type, don’t get it.

It really reminds me of Maggie Sottero’s Victoriana except with a zip-up back!
