What do y’all think of an invitation designed like the one in this video?
They used a neverending card design. We’re planning on incorporating origami into the wedding, and I had never heard of neverending cards before. We both think the idea is pretty cool, and Fiance really liked my draft of the idea. We also both like puzzles and challenges so we had a lot of fun figuring out the card, and I’m just hoping everyone else would too and would not be put off by this design.
It could be a fun way to introduce our origami theme. Do you think if we were able to put arrows on each side instructing how to fold it that people would figure it out? Maybe we could also include a video on our website showing how to fold it for people who just can’t figure it out and print little inserts to include with the invitation sending them to the website/describing how it folds?

WOW! That’s awesome! My only fear would be that I/guests wouldn’t know how to open it. I’d totally still do it though!

@macshap: I love this! Really great way to incorporate your theme and love of puzzles. I’m not sure you’d have to include instructions – but maybe have traditional invitations for those who you think might have a tough time opening it.

Glad to hear you all mostly like the idea! Now i need to make a mockup and see if i can make one that looks anywhere near that good. It will definitely be a challenge to make them as we are sending almost 150 invitations

I love it! You could always have a little flat slip that has just the info on it just in case some folks can figure it out, but it’s SUPER cool 🙂

Pretty cool wouldn’t pick that particular styling but with different colors it’d be awesome…. to be honest I was listening more to all the girls in the background talking about San Diego neighborhoods… haha.

That is a really neat invitation design! I think your guests would be really impressed, and it seems easy to open. Now the question is, how hard are they to make? lol
