I think you have more food for vegetarians than the meat eaters. I see no problem with it, other than the fact that I’m not eating it right now.

I’m veggie I was going to say there’s not a lot there for veggies. Doing a mixed bean dish would be cheap and easy to do. Also some veggie sausages to go in the rolls to have with bbq would be great too.  Maybe add a pasta or something as well for everyone – again cheap option.

it’s funny reading your menu as in the UK we’d have cheese and biscuits/crackers after pudding/dessert not as a starter.  I think it’s great actually either way, not a criticism btw, it’s just the difference jumped out at me.

leahkate:  I don’t think so – not in terms of balanced meal with proteins, that’s why I mentioned the bean dish and veggie sausages.

marriedtopizza: I would just ask your caterer to prepare a vegetarian dish for two vegetarians. I like your menu, but I’m worried the pulled pork might be a bit messy for your guests.

I’m a vegan and it sounds pretty good to me!  The couscous sounds good and isn’t the same thing we always get at weddings!

As long as there isn’t bacon in the green beans, all the sides are veggie friendly too.  That’s more options than we usually get!

I think it sounds pretty tasty!  I actually assumed the couscous was the entree for vegetarians!

lindsayE:  the cous cous with chickpeas in it or something like that would be a great veggie/vegan option

marriedtopizza:  I honestly do not think there is enough variety. Appetizer selection looks very small (veggies and cheese, to me, be more of a snack food, not appetizers). I would also add more entrees and sides (two or three of each for buffett style is pretty small variety)

That all sounds delicious! The couscous in a dinner-sized portion sounds like a very reasonable vegetarian entree, but I’m not a vegetarian.
