At the beginning of the year I contacted a vendor to design and print the menu cards. Emails were sent back and forth and I finally approved a draft. I’ve been sitting on the draft for weeks, just waiting on final numbers to come in so I know how many menu cards I will need (I am just doing 1 per table). I loved the card at first, now I’m not so sure. What do you think? It will be 5×7 printed on textured (linen) ivory cardstock. The flower thing on the corner will stick out, it doesn’t just cut off like that in the draft.
One of my qualms is that it’s quite a bit more casual from my formal invitations and overall formal wedding. I can probably get over that, but I’m also not sure about the headings. Do I really need “Antipasto Bar, Pasta, Main Course, etc..” as titles? I do want to distinguish between the different courses somehow. And I’m also wondering if it sounds too pretentious?? Although “Lemon and Rosemary oven roasted chicken breast in a white wine field mushroom sauce” is what’s on the menu, it’s a little too wordy, no?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I love it! I think that though your invitations and weddings are formal, you’re still a fun girl! I think that it is awesome and still classy!

I think using a different font for the subtitles and the descriptions would make it a little less flat.
I think you can drop the late night service portion, It’ll be more fun to surprise your guests and everyone knows they’re getting cake.
I would do Antipasto, First course, Main course, Sides, Dessert

If you are having trouble with it meshing with your formal invites and formal feel, I would maybe make the headers cursive as well.
Other than that, I think your menu should get in my belllyyyy.

@RoundSolitaire: You said you were concerned this is too informal in comparison to the rest of your suite…what does your invitation look like? That would help.

I would take away the stroke from the daisy image.
If you posted your invites I could suggest changes that would tie in your invites.
I would use a more formal script handwriting as others suggested.
I would use a darker purple to make it more formal.
I would also use a different color or weight of font for the headers to give it more hierarchy.
For the modern look I would use a sans-serif font.

Thanks guys I love all of the suggestions and the kind words. As requested, here is our invitation (outside and inside). The quality is horrid, but I’m sure you get the point.
