I came across a name that I like but it seems to be very uncommon as I can’t even find it on any baby name site…perhaps its a made up name which I don’t normally like, but I like the way this one sounds.
The name is Brielynn
prounounced as one word “Breelin” NOT with the two parts emphasized separately like “Bree-Lynn”
What do you Bee’s think?

Well, it’s not as bad as the ‘Briley” I saw a few days ago!
It could grow on me

No offence, but I only think of the cheese.
When it comes to names I think you should just always know how to pronounce it… I think that Brielynn would get
BRY-LYNN a lot and she’d be spending her life correcting people… “Actually it’s BREE-LYNN”

I think you are right, that was my biggest concern with that name was that it would never be pronounced right and I only like it pronounced the way I say it..don’t like it as Bree-Lynn said separatly or as Bry-lynn

It’s not my personal taste, but I wouldn’t say it’s weird. My cousin’s name is Brie and when her sister had a baby she named her Brielyn (might be spelled Brie-Lynn but I can’t say for sure) A friend of mine also just named her baby Brielyn.

I read it as Bry-lynn. I’m guessing she’d have to spend time correcting people a lot.

@MapleCreekBride: Makes me think of Lemon Breeland from Hart of Dixie! I think it’s cute 🙂

I know I am a bitch when it comes to these types of things, but when I hear a name like that I always roll my eyes.

Me too!! That’s exactly what my first thought was!

I also read it Bry-lynn… and HATE it regardless: Brie-lynn doesn’t really flow off the tongue.

I have a friend named Brelyn. She’s super cute and bubbly. I like it!
