Ooh I like that combination! I can see what you mean about the rings being able to nestle together a bit. I think you would still have a gap, but those rings will still look so nice and unique together. Is that a ring you can try on at a jewelry store or were you looking at something online only? If you go with it be sure to post pics!

haha it’s never too early to start thinking about wedding bands!  I’m also a May 2012 wedding and already have my band on layaway….I think it’s smart to think about it early so you can pay for it early and have it taken care of!

I also love the rings mixed with gemstone and I think that is going to be a really beautiful combo for you!  Smile

Love the ring! I think they will look beautiful together, but I would just make sure that the colour of the blue topaz compliments the alexandrite on your e-ring.  You can also ask a jeweller to make the ring but with the alexandrite instead on the topaz.  We did that with my e-ring as we couldn’t find it where we are (similar to yours but with a round diamond in the centre with pear shaped sapphires on the side).  You have lots of time to shop around and see what type of deal a jeweller can give you to get exactly what you want!

thats such a nice band! are you going to find one to try on?  I know the feeling with an odd shaped ring, it’s hard to match.  I, too, keep shopping early.  I think its the excitement of actually wearing one.

I think the blues will complement each other, but if you’re worried they’re going to compete, why not a wedding band with say, white sapphires or some other clear stone? The design of that wedding band is gorgeous and I don’t know that you necessarily need colored stones. Just my opinion:)

Look at Gemvara–they have a similar band and you can pick your gemstones.

Beautiful e-ring!
