Okay so my Fiance and I were going to do this song for the first dance, but I think we have decided to go a different route for the first dance. My Fiance has a sweet spot for this song as it was originally the one he picked for the first dance. I was listening to it again this weekend after trying to decide on a song to walk down the aisle too. Alot of this first part describes me and our relationship.
We are getting married outside of a barn. My big “reveal” will be through the barn doors. This Lady Antebellum song is probably my top choice now. What do you ladies think? I’ll cut it off at 1:30.
Here is a link if you haven’t heard it:

Its a good song…but just a tad awkward for a bridal march, in my opinion. Do you think that you could possibly use it for another part of your ceremony?? Maybe the garter toss, etc. ?

I think it would be better first dance song, may I ask why you changed your mind? I prefer instrumental music for the processional but that’s just my opinion, and it seems like you’d want the lyrics to that song heard.

I see what you are talking about… I’ve been battling back and forth with the idea. We are thinking something a little less serious and sweet for the first dance. An Eric Church song that has some history for us behind it and everybody knows the story that we know, lol.
