I think those go together really well!  If the dress was super ornate or it was a Catholic mass I could see it not working as well but I don’t think you have anything worry about.  Definitely go for it!  That veil is awesome!

I like the veil and I think it goes with your dress. I’m not 100% about it going with your venue, but who cares! ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it goes great with the dress! Not so sure about the venu necessarily (the veil seems like it would be for something a bit more evening formal), but going with the dress is the most important part anyway

I LOVE LOVE LOVE bird cage veils! They come in all shapes and sizes though — you’re going the bigger, poofier route, so make sure you’ve got the hair to handle it! The model has thick, long hair, and I think this veil would look fab on someone with the same – but if you’ve got thinner or shorter hair (or even a lot lighter), you might consider looking into a similar but slightly more understated version of the bird cage, just so it doesn’t come off looking like a bee keeper’s hat (trust me… I’ve got thin, short hair, and I’m going to need a bird cage that sits a LOT closer to the head, haha).

    It’s beautiful though!

I love that veil. If I didn’t want those long flowy veil shots, I’d do something funky like that. Looks. Great.

I love your veil with your dress! I think they’ll be amazing together (although I’m biased. I love birdcage veils with all my wedding soul!). You might want to check that they veil can be detached from the fascinator if you want to do that for your reception though. But yes, Love it.

I really like the veil choice.. I was going to comment about functionality but then reread your post, which answered my question about how the groom was going to get through it for the big smooch! ๐Ÿ™‚  If your dress would have had sleeves, I’d have voted no.  btw, I just saw a version of your dress that was a bridesmaid dress and love the design!

I think your veil would look great with that dress.  Personally, I think it’s more important to go with the dress than the venue.  I think it would look fantastic!
