I wouldn’t order a ring online, I;d hate to get it and not like something about it.

I do like this set though, very simple yet eleganr!

i think its really pretty, but i too would be nervous about ordering something like that online w/o seeing it first. Maybe find a jewler that has something similar just so you can see how it would look on your hand.

i have no experience with buying rings online, that company or anything of the sort (SORRY!!), however.. my fiance bought my ring completely online without seeing it first and it is PERFECT.. and i think the set you have chosen is gorgeous!!

Here are two ladies that have that ring.  Moonadea has the round version with a morganite.  It’s a gorgeous set.  I don’t think you can go wrong with the ring itself, but maybe order a loose stone ahead of time to make sure it’s to you like it?  A few ladies have found moissy to be a little too warm and/or green for their taste.

I know they offer that ring in palladium, which has a lot of the same properties as platinum, plus it’s cheaper.  Is there a reason you’re going with platinum over palladium?  Palladium wouldn’t have to be special order, so you could return it if you didn’t like it.

Order the loose stone first if you have never seen a cushion moissanite in real life. They can tend greenish yellow. If you don’t like the loose stone you can return it. If you do like it, send it back for them to set in the ring.

I would suggest you go over to Better Than Diamond and see if anyone has photos up of this one. Moissanite Co has quality product, I have ordered a few things from them, but I would encourage you to have an idea if you like the style first before going special order. Have you tried on similar styles?

If you have never seen a cushion moissanite, you should also order it to decide if you like it. Are you going with an Amora-enhanced once?

I am totally comfortable buying online. My original wedding band, my husbands ring, my first full wedding set and my second set (allergies with first) are all online purchases, and all except my first ring have been custom and non-returnable. All have been absolutely great experiences and great results!

What if you order in palladium to look at it, and either keep it or return it for platinum? There is a restocking fee, I think, but cheaper than an entire set that does not do it for you and cannot be returned!

Eta- abirdword has already done the legwork for you for “real life pics” I see. Disregard my recommending going to BTD then!

I love the style, halos with plain shanks are my favorite! I would be nervous about the no return policy though. Ask if they can send you real photos of the ring from multiple angles

@ejbri:  Believe it or not, the website “drawings” are actually some sort of fancy studio photos!

Lots of people do not like them though because as you already know, they do not seem very real!

Warmth is one thing but what if the ring comes to you and the stone is green? Please order a loose stone first, it is a very cheap form of insurance to protect you from having a $2400 ring you cannot return.

@ejbri:  Warmth is fine, I like it too (I have unenhanced OECs) but cushions can be too warm for some and it seems there is variance from one to the next at times. Some do show more green undertones than others.

Also, I have a local jeweler who works with moissanite and is quite experienced with it. You may find some jewelers will refuse though so you have to shop around.
