I wouldn’t think too much about it, especially if it’s not like he has a past of making sexually inappropriate comments.

Hmm- i think it could go either way.  If he is normally a perv, then I could see how you would think its inappropriate.  However, I really do see how this could have just been a slip of the tongue and just came out wrong.

I don’t think he meant anything. Just didn’t think before he spoke.

@FutureMrs86:  Meh.  Normal insensitive guy talk, not sexual at all.

I think you are trying to make something out of nothing.

@FutureMrs86:  I read that as more of him being an asshole telling you that you need to leave your office more…(even if you have an office job). I wouldnt think anything of it!

I don’t see anything inappropriate about that. Sounds like he’s saying “if you think you’re cold, you should go spend time somewhere that it is really cold.”

@FutureMrs86:  I don’t think he meant anything sexual by it at all. I’ve been sexually harassed at work before, and believe me, you know when it’s happening.

My thoughts, in order:

That was kind of a harsh thing for him to say.

*scrolls down*

Wait, why is everyone talking about the possibility of the comment being sexual?

Ya…I didn’t even pick up on the “take off your shirt” thing as being sexual at first. I think it was just a weird way something came out.

@Sunflower–girl:  Yepp.

I saw it as him saying ‘its so much colder in the rest of the building that if you left your office and went elsewhere and came back, you would find your office too hot’

Not in the pervy ‘you should take your shirt off’ kind of way.
