Hello! From the beginning, I wanted my reception to have a nice Spanish flair. I’m talking SPAIN Spanish and not to be confused with Mexican or other Latin American countries. I plan to honeymoon in Spain so I wanted something in our ballroom setting to look Spanish, even if that’s Southern Spanish (Moroccan, Arab influence). I feel like I’m getting away from my initial vision and wanted to see what you pictured when I say Spanish theme.. Thanks!

I think tapas, paella, courtyards, flamenco, red, castanets, fans, soccer, gaudí, el corte ingles, jamon serrano, lace, mantillas, panuelos, bull fighting. I could probably go on.
I’ve been to Spain. Great place.

Flamenco, tapas! Beautiful tiles/tilework, lace, fans, windmills (Don Quixote), guitar music.
This could definitely be a fun theme – lots of factors to work with! We went to Seville & Barcelona in 2011 and it was fabulous!

Tapas, deep/rich colors, decorative tiles, lots of lace, serrano ham. I love the idea of having the Moroccan influence, it sounds lovely!

lace, red, Catholic inspired architecture, tapas, those steps…rolling hills.

Sangria, oranges (heard somewhere oranges are big there), Moroccan influence.

I think of black wrought iron and beautiful while lace mantillas. I think of detailed architecture and Spanish guitars.
DEFINITELY think of Spanish guitars.

Deep reds and golds, lace, wrought iron, Old World style… Absolute class!

I think of flamenco dancers, lace, ostrich feathers, red/yellow/gold/black, paella and tapas, maybe even a rustic atmosphere with lots of wine and spirits, smart buns or touseled waves in the hair, men in tailored suits with shirts unbuttoned at the top. But that’s just me 🙂
