Ok, obviously our wedding isn’t for a while (aaaand he hasn’t proposed yet lol). But these shoes were on sale soo I bought them. My question is, do you think I should leave them as is? Add some kind of brooch/clip to the toe? Dye them ivory or light gray? Or return them? Lol
Some back story: So far, the wedding colors are going to be ivory, light gray, charcoal, orange, and yellow. My dress will (most likely) be in ivory because it goes better with my skin tone. The BMs will be in light gray, groomsmen and groom in charcoal, flowers in orange and yellow (with some white/ivory possibly thrown in). My jewelry will consist of a mix of bling and pearls, probably mostly pearls with some bling thrown in. I have “simple” taste so my dress will be simple with statement earrings and bracelet. I’ll show you some examples of what I’m looking for… (Sorry the pictures are so big)
And last but not least,

Leave the shoes as is until you are closer to your wedding date and know for sure the color of your dress and the palette.

i think you should just wait until you’re engaged and have your dress before you accessorize.

@FutureMrsJohnson_: I agree. I think since you already found them, if you like them, keep them but you really never know until you actually get your dress so I would hold off on buying more stuff until them.. and HOLY MOLY, you are an early bird! I definitely waited until I was engaged before I started looking for and buying wedding stuff!

@FutureMRS3lastnames: I mean, this is literally the ONLY thing I’ve bought/booked/etc. But I like them by themselves too (I have a shoe addiction ) so I would wear them outside of the wedding even if they don’t end up going with my dress.

Haha, I’m totally the kind of girl who would buy her wedding shoes before anything else too. I think leave them until you get your dress, and see whether that shade of ivory matches your dress. I think they would look nice dyed a dove grey, to match your BMs.
