@JessesGirl:  I just got AF today after being nearly four days late and I’ve never been late before so I know the feeling! I’d say leave it for a couple more days and test again. Something has to happen eventually, one way or another.

@JessesGirl:  Definitely could be stress. It could really be several reasons =( I was very regular, and progressively have gotten more and more irregular. My cycles range from 26-38 days now. If you reach CD45, it may be time to go to the doctor.

If this was your first month charting, FF’s guess date for when AF is due is probably wrong. It just assumes you have 28 day cycles, you know? Which often times we don’t have. So it may not technically be “late” yet, you know? My AF date changes every month. Ugh

Do you know if you had something stressful around the middle of what would be your “regular” cycle length? If this is your first month charting, it’s hard to tell. However, you probably had a delayed ovulation, which would push back your Lutenizing phase. The post-ovulation phase of your cycle is almost always the same length within a day or so. It’s ovulation that gets delayed or skipped with stress.

Once you temp for a few months, you should be able to see this pretty clearly in your chart if it happens.

Good luck next month!!!
