I’ve posted a few dresses on here and got some really helpful comments but this is the big one now. I’ve loved this dress for ages and took a road trip to try it on the other day. I’ve posted the original dress however I want it without the strap – its under my arm in the pic and the beading will obviously be put across the top of the bodice where it will be cut. Do you think it works with the alterations? And also, what do you think of the dress? I’m thinking I may have a few of the flowers put on the side that the wast drops, good idea or not?
Thanks for all your help in my dress search 🙂

Just to point out the dress was severaly sizes too big and I think thats why its not a brilliant fit even when clipped. x

Yes, totally. I would have gotten rid of the strap too. And love the flower idea, to have something there on the side. Cause it seems like it needs something there. Love it! Do it! It works!:). thanks for sharing!

Wow, that dress is stunning on you! I love the beadwork on the bodice! Yes, I agree to remove the one-shoulder strap and add the flowers to the dropped waist side…it will look so beautiful! Please share the finished product with us!

Sure, I think the dress will still look gorgeous without the strap.

I think the dress looks great without the strap, but I’d probably skip the flowers.
