We’re having cheesecake for our wedding cake and are having a tough time deciding on flavors. We’re worried that with our wide variety of guests, we won’t pick flavors that they will like. The baker said the cakes would be on a stand with three tiers like below.
This is a short list of our “maybe’s”:
Plain NY cheesecake with seasonal fruit topping (sorta like what’s in the pic)
Plain NY cheesecake with chocolate truffle topping
Strawberries & Cream flavored cheesecake
Plain NY cheesecake with mango mousse topping
What ones sound the most delicious to you?? [attachment=855222,107103]

Can you have a plain cheesecake and the options of seasonal fruit toppings on the side? like Strawberries, Blueberries, Cherries, chocolate shavings, graham cracker dust, broken pieces of butterfingers/snickers…A cheesecake topping bar perphaps?

I think you should maybe have a chocolatey one (as in, a chocolate cheesecake, not just one wiht chocolate shavings on it) for people who like chocolate or aren’t that into cheesecake (ME!)

I can’t choose because honestly, I don’t like cheesecake at all….so I asked the hubs…he says seasonal fruit!

Seasonal fruit or chocolate truffle, most definitely.

I picked seasonal fruit, but I love pretty much all cheesecake, so I would eat any (or all!) of them.

mmmmmmmmmm cheesecake. is ALL an option!? The pumpkin cheesecake sounds extra delish…

um…yum! I just clicked on all of them…

Can you have plain cheesecake with no toppings? A number of people don’t like toppings of any kind. Like modernwarfare mentioned, you could have a buffet of toppings for guests to put on what they want. And there is also the argument that they can scrape off the toppings, but they do alter the taste of the cheesecake itself that is underneath.

can I come to your wedding? I’m drooling thinking about all this cheesecake…
I wish there had been an option for the pumpkin, because that would be my first choice! But I went with both of the fruit options, because I’m not a big fan of chocolate.

I like @modernwarfare’s suggestion of a cheesecake topping bar…but I voted for strawberries & cream cheesecake b/c I thought it sounded more fun/less expected.

All of them are making me hungry, but the strawberries and cream sound delicious!

I choose chocolate and I would definately have a no fruit opttion. My Fiance is allergic to many fruits and I do not eat fruit at all so fruit free is always our choice!

They all sounds delicious! Since the fruit/chocolate/etc. is not being mixed into the cheesecake, I really like the idea of letting the guests choose their own topping.

Great idea to have the toppings on the side! That never crossed our mind, but I will definitely bring it up to the baker. I know there are certain family members of mine that absolutely HATE fruity desserts, which was why we thought to have a chocolate layer. But letting the guests pick and choose what to have with is genius!
Thanks for the feedback!!
