We use a broom, a swiffer, and a vacuum.  It all depends on how much hair there is at the time.

Vaccuum first then swifter wet jet. Every other week I do a good all over wash on my hands and knees.

I put my dogs up for adoption.

Kidding!  But I do have the best pittie in the whole wide world, and it’s like a dog hair blizzard every time you give him “lovin’s”

The Swiffer gets full too fast, so I have to sweep it up and then Swiff.  I mop if it’s really bad.

I have an oreck vaccuum thats a canister one that rolls around with me. I have a chocolate lab, and this thing works wonders on the ridiculous amounts of hair she loses lol.

You can find one cheaper than the oreck at a walmart or target (mine was a gift and I’m pretty sure it was around $200).

I have hardwood floors through out my house and I have 3 cats so I have to be on top of the pet hair issue at all times to avoid being overrun by clumps of hair.  I vacuum first, then swiffer sweep, then swiffer mop.  Seems to do the job pretty well!

I don’t have a dog right now, but from previous exp Broom and then swiffer. Broom only to get up big stuff.

Swiffers are in the top 10 inventions of the century. If you don’t use them, you need to. Also, I find the store brand refills to be just as good as the swiffer brand at least for the dry mops.

Broom, swiffer, vacuum– some combo of those, depending on how clean I want to get it/how much effort I feel like putting in. Even when I did all three, I would still find mysterious tumbleweeds around. I guess I’m just not very good at cleaning.

Now, we have a cleaning lady once a month and she does a fantastic job getting it all, whatver she us using.

I hate dog hair also… I use broom then wet swifter… Thinking about buying the swifter vacuum… Not sure if it will hold all the dog hair though
