@weddingbee098: LOL. Fiance thought the Papa Murphy’s AD we got for the “Heart Baker” pizza was awsome and he liked that it was only $8! He actually got me a heart shaped pizza around Sweetest Day, just for fun.
I’m not sure what we’re doing for Valentine’s Day. We plan to celebrate it tomorrow night since we are traveling to visit friends on the actual day. Fiance just told me to try and get off work early tomorrow (done) and that I should go home afterwards and put on a cute dress. So I am very curious what he is up to!! He was also dropping hints last night about being out somewhere, wouldn’t tell me where, but that he was thinking of me and he loves me. He’s usually so not the romantic gesture type at all…last year we just stayed home on v-day and I cooked us a nice dinner. When I brought up cooking this year he told me not to plan anything. So I guess I just want to find out what my surprise is!
@weddingbee098: I didn’t have an answer until I read what you want. I want a….
Treatzza-Pizza from Dairy Queen! Yummmmm.
This is what I got! FH left for a business trip this morning and won’t be back until Saturday so I got it early.
Absolutely nothing. I want a regular friday night with DH (which usually involves a late night of bad TV and some combination of left overs and/or takeout because neither of us wants to cook.
I’ll probably get candles, wine, and chocolate. He knows me well.
All I really want at this point is to connect with my husband over dinner. With my pregnancy moods, connecting has been hard and we’re feeling pretty far apart. :
@weddingbee098: FI asked the same question- told him i want him to cook me dinner while i sit on the couch & watch tv! That has NEVER happened, its usually the other way around. He is happily abliging & surprising me with what he cooks! Fingers crossed its good haha
I’ve been so busy I’ve barely thought about V-day, I’m just focused on getting my new (custom made) ering. I don’t have anything else on my list other than that. I do want to start my familys tradition of getting our kids little v-day gifts, my grandfather used to be my valentine every year when I was a kid.
Dinner and a movie, at home. He’s cooking dinner, I’m making dessert, then a romcom I’ve been setting aside to watch!!
