Darling Husband and I want 2 max, but will probably stop at 1. Kids are expensive! We haven’t even started TTC yet, but have names picked out.

Top 3 for girls: Isla, Mena, Tabitha
Top 3 for boys: Urijah, Gunnar, Maverick

@MrsFeatherbottom:  If I was his teacher, I would constantly have to stop myself from calling him Perry Mason!!!

We may have 2… We’ll see how the first time goes!! But have said probably we’ll stick with just one.
I love finley, george, or Lawrence for a boy (tho finley is getting really popular in the UK right now, which makes me like it less)
for girls I like so many; abigale, felice, Harriet, aubrey, Lucy to name a few…

We’ll probably have 3-4, but we’re not TTC yet. I like girls names that end in -ana, -ella, etc… And for boy names, we’re not sure ๐Ÿ™‚ I like Biblical boy names, but I don’t want them to be too common or too weird – hard to find that middle ground with Bible names ๐Ÿ™‚

@misskoala:  I love the name Urijah! I know a guy named that, is that an ethnic name just out of curiousity?

We want just one or two…won’t make a decision on that till we have one and see how it goes.

No real serious name discussions, I know my SIL and her husband had their future kid’s names picked ot before the wedding even happened, although from what I’ve seen on the boards I guess it’s not that uncommon. But I just see it happen wayyy too often where a couple falls in love with a name, someone else they know has a kid first and uses it, and they’re furious and upset. We’re avoiding that whole drama by not choosing a name till I’m actually pregnant. Even then, we might narrow it down to two or three and decde which one suits our baby the best once we see him/her. That’s what my parents did with me and I like the idea of it.

That being said, for girl names I really like Keira, Allison, Kaylie, Rachel, Amelia (Mia). For a boy I like Benjamin (Ben), Zachary (Zach), Ethan, Evan, Ryan, Landon, Trevor, and Declan.

Darling Husband likes Luke and Leia. Yeah…he’s taking it very seriously so far.

@rbuchanan09:  My nephew is called Blaise (FIL’s middle name).  It isn’t a name I see often!

I want 1 but Darling Husband wants 2, so we will probably have 2.

Girls:  Mary Elizabeth (Elle or Ellie), Josephine (Josie) Ann

Boys:  Thomas, Malcolm (Mack), Patrick, Henry (Hank)

They are mostly all family names and we obviously like knick-names ๐Ÿ™‚
