We like Reese for a girl and Ethan for a boy. I really like Lucas, but Darling Husband is a Star Wars obsessed nut and everyone has already picked on him about if he named his son Lucas or Luke. So, that one is a no go. We will be using grandparents’ names for the middle names.

For a boy: Mark Lucas
For a girl: Helena (haven’t thought of a middle name yet)
My husband picked out the first name for the boy and i picked the middle name. We both picked the first name for the girl but haven’t thought of a middle name yet.

Why don’t you name him Brock and then call him Rocky? I understand being a fan of a movie but ultimately this is going to be the name that this boy applies to jobs with and introduces himself to potential love interests as one day. Give him a name that he can be taken seriously with.

@Ugoob: I love them! & love that you are using your brother and sisters middle names for your kids, thats sweet! 🙂
@kat2014: all great names and its also great you plan to use your grandparents names!

Jemma Jo. my middle name is jo and so is my mothers so i’m going to continue that tradition. I also like Kimber but I’m thinking maybe Ember.
As for a boy i’m not sure yet. i’ve always liked Vaughn. I liked Harrison too but my new last name will end in “son” so i cant really do that.

@BoiledPNut: Love both names and great choice on using grandparents names as middle names! 🙂 I would do the same if someone in my family hadnt already taken up all the names!
@NielsyT: both great names! 🙂 good luck with the middle name!
@RobotBabooshka: how do you get Rocky out of Brock? & you have a point but we are not the only ones who have thought of this name, I’ve looked it up lol, we may just change our minds later, who knows.

I am eons away from having babies, but I love names. I have an odd obsession with them so my lists are gigantic. Not gonna lie though, my heart broke everytime I saw Evelyn mentioned in someone’s list. I am very possesive of that name lol.
Girls: Evelyn, Lucille (Lucy!), Emmaline, Adelaide (Addie), Leighton, Ellie, Adelyn, Violet, Willa
I’ll use a family name for the middle name so some variation of Carolyn, Marie, or Patricia.
Boys: (FI’s family has a tradition of handing down the intials DLH to the oldest son so I must honor that) Devlin, Declan, Dean, Davin, Dane.
Middle name with be after my father, Lewis.
BUT if we get two boys the next one might be Soren, Liam, Aidan, or Tristan. With a middle name after one of our grandfathers.

I’ve always liked the name Mirella. I grew up doing ballet and Mirella was the name of the dancewear brand that I always wore and ordered, and ever since then I’ve just always thought it would be a cute and unusual name.

@janetsnakehole: Like Jemma Jo! & I agree that it would be too weird if you used a name that ended the same as your last name
@MsTireSmoke: yeah I’ve noticed how much that name is used. I love all the names! & Patricia is my middle name! I say go with that one 😉 haha jk
@Lyssabee: that is a wonderful name! 🙂
