I have a hard time with lip color, no matter how “long wear” it claims to be I just can’t keep it on.  For daily use I prefer stains with some gloss or balm.  My favorite in Benetint.  The cheap one I use is Revlon Just Bitten Stain.  Both will give me a tint for about 4-6 hours.  I plan on using Benetint for the wedding, and possibly layering a lip color over it.  I like using a tint and stick because once the lipstick wears off I still have some color.  I usually wear heavy eye makeup and light lips, so this works well for me.

My MUA used YSL lipgloss on my wedding day and I loved it – not sticky and it smelled so good! I’m a convert (used to use MAC or Dior)

usually just nivea chapstick, but if I’m going to wear make-up I use a lip and cheek stain from the body shop.

I love Vaseline, as weird as that sounds. I have a squeeze tube I keep in my purse, one beside the bed and one in my bathrobe. It makes my lips so moist! Love it.

I use Burt’s Bees as a chapstick and then Urban Decay Lip Junkie over it. For whatever reason, every single lipstick I have ever worn has made my throat hurt. I don’t know if I am allergic to something in them? Anything with lots of pigment in it – chapstick, lipstick, lip gloss, whatever. If it has a darker color than what my lips already are, then it will hurt my throat.

I like Maybelline Baby Lips. It’s an easy way to do fun (but sheer) colors on your lips. Inexpensive and moisturizing.

I’ll always swear by Chapstick as well.

For lip gloss I love Dior Ultragloss.

@LavenderBride24:  I had a GORGEOUS coral MAC lip color for the wedding, but I have a lot of pink in my lips already so I normally don’t put any color on. I have some Carmex Moisture Plus that is the most amazing stuff I’ve ever used. It doesn’t smell like the normal Carmex does, and it helped me survive through the Minnesota Winters which is no easy feat.

Carmex Moisture Plus…. it’s so amazing. I have a serious chapstick/lip balm addiction though. I have 4 tubes of carmex and 2 other kinds of lip balm in my purse right now and god only knows how many kinds in my car and around the house.

I almost never wear lipstick because it usually makes my lips dry, or peel, or it comes off way to quick. Instead I wear tinted moisturizer or colored chapstick type stuff. I really love the burts bees lip shimmer’s, they tingle a little bit bc they have mint in them & smell so minty fresh- My current favorite is Strawberry but I also love watermelon. My fav. tinted moisturizer is a grape seed oil from Wine Country Organics- the color is Zin & it’s a perfect sheer red you can build up if you want. I love the tinted moisturizers the most because they dry quickly so it doesnt rub off, but still leaves you with soft lips, & you can put chapstick over it without smudging it all over.

@canarydiamond:  +10 Baby Lips is the SHIT: that is the only thing I’ll put on them when they are freshly injected 🙂

@Ibblet:  I’ve been wondering if those are any good! I’ll try them 🙂

@LavenderBride24:  I’m a big fan of Sephora lipsticks for something I don’t need to stay on very long 🙂 They’re pretty smooth.
