Hey bees,
So my Fiance makes fun of my pajamas on a regular basis. Its not a huge deal but we will be moving in together soon (our relationship has been long distance thus far… Almost three years)
Once we move in together and he will see me all the time i figure t might be good to get some new pajamas. I dont look good in those short shorts pjs plus i like to lounge in my pjs once i get home from work so im looking for nice looking pj pants or capris.
Where do you ladies buy your pjs? I dont want to look like a teenager but also not like my grandma. :). Please also let me kow what you buy like a matching set or random separates.
Thanks!

I wear whatever is comfy. LOL. I’ve been with my husband for 6 years and married for almost 2 and we just wear whatever we feel most cozy in! I’ll usually wear some solid color pajama pants from target and a simple/cute sleep V neck. It’s bedtime so I’m not going to look like a supermodel but I try to keep it cute/decent without looking like I’ve given up on life.

@CGDarcy:
Not sure where you live, but if you live in the US, you can always try Victoria Secret.
There are also some cute sets in Target.
I sleep nude most of the time and lounge in pajamas, maxi dresses or tights with tops.

I usually just sleep in my undies. I don’t buy pajamas much. I will maybe buy cute pajama shorts and wear those with tank tops when I’m around the house. I stay away from pajama pants because almost all of them are too short for me (5’11”) but I have some mens pajama pants! I usually only wear those when I’m lounging (not sleeping) around in the winter.
I would try target or old navy, they usually have pretty cheap pjs or shorts/pants.

i usually wear shorts/capris and a t-shirt/tank top (in the winter it’s sweatpants and a thermal). i have a mix of matching sets and just random separates.
i have a few things from target, but i get most of my sleepwear at ross or marshall’s/tjmaxx. they have stuff that’s cute and cheap.

I get really hot at night with SO in the bed, even during the winter, so I have to wear as little as possible! I have some really cute nighties from VS that I usually wear. They’re super soft, and like short nightgowns…go just below my butt in length. They’re low cut so sometimes they go askew…but whatever lol.
During “that time of the month”…I don’t feel comfortable wearing just underwear, so I’ll wear some short pj shorts and a tank top. My shorts are also from VS (I used to work there…), the Pink line….sort of boxer style. But they’re cute and comfy so whatever!
When I’m lounging around I have some comfy sweats, but it gets waaay too hot at night for me to wear them to bed. It’s sad because I have some really cute flannel pj sets that I can’t wear anymore now that I share the bed with SO!

I think Victoria’s Secret has some pajamas that are a good combination of comfy and cute. I don’t have any because I’m 5’11 like
@kes18 and the ones I’ve tried from them were too short- I don’t get it because they fit the models in the pics and you know the models are supertall. Grr. ><
Personally, I sleep really warm year round so the less I wear, the better. The most I’ll wear is a cami nightie or some printed girl sleep boxer shorts and a cami. The latter are random separates since I only own like three of each and the camis are all blues and the boxers are all red tones haha. Once I get rich, I’ll buy matching pajamas.

I get cute matching sets of shorts/ cami from TJ Maxx or Marshalls. They aren’t old lady or super sexy- in between….can’t wear outside to run get the trash or when we have kids.

Same as
trueblue14 we both have nekkid time year round, unless it’s ridiculously cold for whatever reason.

@kgirl91: VS does sell tall pjs (
online only) but I haven’t ever felt like paying for their pjs and then paying for shipping so I’ve never bothered to order any! I think it’s stupid they fit all their models so great in the photos but can’t even fit someone who is 5’11”. I’m not even
that tall.

It depends on the season. If it’s winter, we have the comforter on the bed, and I sleep naked because I hate the feeling of my clothes riding up and tangling me in the sheets. If it’s summer, we strip the bed down to the fitted sheet and we each have our own throw blanket. I might sleep in undies and a shirt or add pajama pants to the mix, depending on how much time I’ll be spending under the throw blanket. If the temperature’s perfect I don’t need the blanket at all.

same thing I did before I got married! A t-shirt (long or short-sleeved depending on the season,) and comfy knit shorts or pants. I’ve bought a lot at thrift stores, but I recently bought some pants on the old navy clearance rack. Definitely not something I’m willing to spend a lot of money on… I just want to be comfy!
