So Fiance and I went to a restaurant two weeks ago to informally check it out as a venue and we both love it! Now that he is back up in Boston its up to me to sort it all out. Is there anything you wished you asked before booking your venue? and in general what should you ask when visiting the venue?
Its an old converted factory along the river that can hold up to 180 people that charges 1500 for a four hour rental space and 1000 for using the lawn for the ceremony (includes chairs/setup/teardown). Their cheapest package is 33/pp and they charge 30/bottle of wine, 100/quarter keg, and 150 for the bartender. (Is this typical pricing? it sounded reasonable to me)
So ladies, any thoughts on what to ask when touring/booking a venue?
