MemberWe’ve all seen the lists – “ask this vendor this,” etc. For those already married, were there any questions you read that you felt were unimportant to ask, but now wish you did? Or was there something you didn’t like about style/photos/etc. that you wish you would’ve known to ask about?
(I’m excited to be meeting with photographers next week, so I’m interested in any replies!)
Memberthe only thing i wish i would have done was give her a “must have list” of shots, having gotten married in the catholic church not all of it was her fault (they have very strict photography rules) im missing pics of just me and my mom – our first kiss – i have no pictures with my brothers besides one family picture.
overall my pictures turned out AMAZING, i loved them! but there were some shots that i just can’t help but look back and say i wish i had those!

Memberi agree with the must have list. i really wished i had gotten more pics with just me and my BMs. i was excited for these pics for years and then time was constrained as were the Bridesmaid or Best Man pics. But i am sure if i had told how important it was to me, we would have made time for it no doubt. a few little details i would have put on the list too. Also, i should have remembered to tell her my e-ring was a heart shape, because it ended up being upside down in the ring pics. so if you have anything weird like that, remember to tell your photog!

Member“Don’t cut my husband’s head off in the pictures of us getting married”. I realize that you and alot of other people may think the Bride is the focal spot, but it’s about HIM just as much as it’s about ME–therefore I’d like him in the pictures, please.
MemberCost of any additional add-ons (upgraded album, cd of all pictures, rights to photos, etc.), when will he/she have the pictures to you after the wedding? will he/she stay an additional hour or so after the contracted time if you decide that day you want them to (with additional pay of course)? does he/she mind if others are taking photos that day (family and friends)?
Those are the importants ones I can think about now that might not be on any of those lists.
