Year/Make/Model 2013 nissan rogue

How many kids you do you have (plan on having)? we have an almost 5 year old and another on the way

How many does your car seat normally? 5, but I think it’s also available with third row seating, so potentially 7.

Do you have any pets that ride in the vehicle? no pets

How you like your vehicle?/Is it too big/too small? Not enough trunk space? Anything.  I think it’s the perfect size for us, the back seat is spacious and there is a lot of trunk space. I also feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck with a nissan, it has a lot of schamncy extras compared to other cars in the same class/pricerange

Do you recommend this car to someone who is starting a family? Yes! It handles beautifully in the snow and the size is just right for e. I’m 5’7” and I have a bad back, and getting groceries/strollers/carseats in and out of the car is a breeze, it’s high up enough that I don’t have to bend over but not so high that it’s too tall!

We plan to buy a new Nissan Altima later this year (after the wedding). Timeline for baby#1 is at ~2 years so that will be our family car since it’ll be the nicest/newest. I expect baby #2 will come around when I’m looking to replace my car (3-4 years). I’ll probably get a bigger crossover type car (Murano? CR-V?) and that’ll become the family car.

Year/Make/Model 2014 Honda Pilot

How many kids you do you have (plan on having)? (general ages?) Have a 11 month old son, hoping to have one or two more.

How many does your car seat normally? 8

Do you have any pets that ride in the vehicle? (if so, size/breed) No pets yet

How you like your vehicle? I love it! Although going from a 4 cyl to a V6 has been a shocking adjustment, it rides like a dream.

Is it too big/too small? Not enough trunk space? Anything. It’s perfect. We havent had to use the back seat yet, but it’s folded down and gives us so much trunk space.

Do you recommend this car to someone who is starting a family? Absolutely.

Year/Make/Model  I have a 2011 Kia Sorento

How many kids you do you have (plan on having)? (general ages?)  We are planning on TTC later this year. We either want 1 or 2 kids.

How many does your car seat normally?  I have the 3rd row, so technically the car can seat 7. I would only put kids in the 3rd row though because it’s small.

Do you have any pets that ride in the vehicle? (if so, size/breed)  We have 2 dogs that are both in the 35-40 lb. range. I actually bought the car back when my husband and I were just dating to be my dog-mobile because I was tired of always having my dog in the back seat of my old Accord. It’s been great for the dogs – I have a liner for the back that I bought at PetSmart, and we can just throw them back there and go.

How you like your vehicle?  I’ve been really happy with it. I was afraid I wouldn’t like it as much as my 2001 Accord that I had for 10 years, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

Is it too big/too small? Not enough trunk space? Anything.  It’s the perfect size. I wanted enough space in the back for 2 dogs but not much bigger than my old car. It doesn’t feel big to drive. I wanted something with a V-6, which is why I didn’t get a CRV, and the Pilot feels too big to me, otherwise I would have stayed with a Honda. I think my car is the perfect compromise.

Do you recommend this car to someone who is starting a family?  I do. I don’t have kids yet, but I think it will work well when we do.
