(Closed) what does BUMP mean (Newbie)

If the thread hasn’t had any “action” in a while, they’ll type BUMP to get it back up to the top of the thread list, so people can see it.

Bump is usually written when a member wants to move a thread up to the top of the list.  =)

Once you type something in a thread, it gets moved to the top of the list–not sure if you noticed that yet. It’s kinda like getting everyone’s attention about the thread.
