We both work weekends.. I work weekends because I am required to do so, as I work at a resort, and that’s when we are the packed. Fi works weekends because he gets premium pay [basically time and a half for the whole day].

We both get tuesdays & wednesdays off.

ace_craze:  It depends if we have something planned or not. If no plans, we are big bums all weekend and i love it!

But usually we do something saturday – go shopping, have lunch, we go to disneyland a lot since we are pass holders, hang with friends saturday night.

Sunday is usually our lazy day, netflix and a nap!

Go out to eat Friday night. Darling Husband works Saturdays until 2 so I go to the gym Saturday morning then come home and clean. We usually stay in or hang out with friends Saturday night. Sunday morning I get up and go to the gym at 8, come home and make breakfast, then run errands.

We usually do a movie, happy hour, or bar hop on a Saturday night…. Errands, lazing around, etc.  That’s usually our weekends. 🙂

If we aren’t away with friends or family we are usually working around the house, cleaning, repairing etc. We cook dinner together which usually includes some wine and watch a movie. I do my own hobbies on weekends too which include sewing and crafts. Its the only time i have!

We rarely go out to eat on weekends and NEVER go clubing or to the bar. We’re more homebodies and would prefer to party with our dog.

We’ve been using our weekend to look at wedding venues, sleep-in, enjoy some time with our friends, and maybe a couple cocktails! We also try to hang out with my FI’s parents or visit the lake house since the weather is getting nice 🙂

We try to get in a ski or mountain bike or hike at least one of the days.  I try to go for a long run on the other day.  Besides that, we cook brunch or eat out, have dinner with friends, sometimes hit happy hour, watch movies.  Add in house projects and errands, and bam, the weekend’s gone already :/

These days, not much! Fiance is in law school and always has to study, study, study.

We do try to do SOME fun stuff, though, like go skiing or take our dog for long walks. And cook. We eat great on the weekends (and go out sometimes, too). We see friends whenever he has a free night.

Lately, I end up visiting friends or my family on my own while he studies, which is fine, too. I’m definitely looking forward to the first year of law school ending, though!

Groceries, errands, laundry and house cleaning typically happen on weekends. We also like our nights at home to order pizza and watch movies, or else go out to dinner and a movie. We also obviously sleep in!!

ace_craze:  weekends we try our best to relax. but lately we have had a lot of things to do.

Sunday is always laundry day, we will take our time, have a nice breakfast, go to the laundromat, have lunch at our favorite spot next door to the laundromat, during lunch Darling Husband will put them in the dryer, by the time we are done with lunch, our laundry just has to be folded. then we pick up stuff to cook for dinner and watch our Sunday shows, (Housewives, yes he watches with me lol and has gotten into it! and Walking Dead!!!)

Our weekends start on Friday since Darling Husband doesn’t work them. So today was fairly typical. We went into town, me to get my hair cut and him to collect a prescription. We then had coffee and cake outside for elevenses before going on to do our main shopping. The rest of the day has been spent dog walking or on the computer and he’s just off to record a radio show.  He’ll come home with take-out and we’ll watch some TV.

Tomorrow we have football, dog walking and a spot of gardening. In the evening we have a birthday/housewarming party to attend.

Sunday he’ll take it easy, do some gardening and walk the dog. I’ll be going to drumming practice and then come home to cook a traditional roast dinner. We then watch mindless but entertaining TV.

Most weekends I have an event I’m performing at so one of those days I’ll spend out of the house. He’ll either go to football and then on to hang out with friends or we’ll meet up later. At least one day will be a lazy one though!

fun weekends: go to the movies with my husband, dinner or lunch with friends, visit my parents or my grandmother

every sunday: church and go out to brunch or i cook a big breakfast/brunch after church for my husband.

Either stay in & watch a movie or two, drink, smoke or all of the above. Sometimes go out but that’s not that often since dh works a lot he’d rather stay relax in.
