i like the dress… and the neckline… not really my style but it looks great on some people πŸ™‚ the flowers are too much for me though… esp with the detailed dress

I like everything except the bouquet.  I think it would look nicer with a simpler and smaller bouquet since the skirt of her dress already has so much texture.

I like the look MINUS that bouquet. The bride gets lost in it.

ETA: and I’m not a big fan of the necklace… I’m not a huge fan of necklaces with strapless dresses. But that’s just me.

whew! that bouquet is awful with that dress! it makes it look like the dress texture is moving around when the bouquet moves–it just blends in too well… as for the dress, i’m not a fan of skirts like that, but tons of people are and they look great on them… i think the rest of the “look” has to be simple in order for that type of skirt to work, for sure! πŸ™‚

I like the shape but not the skirt of the dress.  Her hair and bouquet are out of control, but I do like the necklaces.  Overall I think she looks way too ‘done’.

@KristenGotMarried: I agree, it’s just too much overall. I’ve always thought she’s pretty anyway so I think that all the flowers and hair and poofy dress took away from her.

@Mrs.tobe: Haha, you’re just full of great comments tonight! Thanks for keeping me laughing πŸ™‚

OP, I think that each element (hair, flowers, jewelry, dress) would be nice by itself, but all together there’s just a lot going on, and it’s working against each other more than together.

I’m a sucker for ruffled skirts, so I LOVE her dress. The neckline and hairstyle is very nice too and suits the location. I like her flower choice but not the size, far to large.

@katiee0707: It’s again not my style at all, but I think it’s a lot more flattering than the previous dress you posted! Not quite as ‘dramatic’ though, if that’s what you’re going for.  This dress looks very nice and IS dramatic, but there are lots of dresses that look similar.  The previous dress you posted was very unqiue and quite shocking!  Guess it depends on what you’re going for, is this one by the same designer you love so much?

@katiee0707: lol I’m glad we manage to see eye to eye despite how clearly different we feel! <3 I still stand by my statement that the first dress is by far the most dramatic- I mean look at the reaction you got on the bee for it.  You would certainely be the topic of conversation, whatever that conversation may be, haha! =D

From your previous posts, I’m gauging that you have a thing for textured skirts…so now its probably time to decide which shape you prefer in the dress..trumpet, mermaid, ball gown..

In response to this particular post, I like her hair, and flowers. I hate her necklace(s) I think they look too juvenile for the sophisticated/edgy look she *tried* to accomplish.

The combo of big complicated dress, big complicated hair, big complicated necklace and big complicated bouquet is WAY too much for me. The dress is pretty on it’s own, maybe even the dress and the necklace, but she needed to tone down everything else. The hair and flowers sent it over the edge.
