Im looking at a couple places that would be perfect for my Fiance and then us both after the wedding. Anyway, Im requesting more info about the place. And right below, where it asks you to check off if you want a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment, it says they dont have any efficiencies. What exactly is that? Thats the first time I have seen this.
Thanks for any help.

They are studio apartments. Lots of times they will have the bedroom/living room/kitchen in one room, and a separate bathroom. Super tiny/compact place, but are normally much cheaper and if you can stand it, they are often great starter apartments. We live in one and love it!
ETA: I said lots of times they are one room because sometimes studio apartments are set up so that the bedroom is slightly separated from the rest of the house. In ours, we have a folding curtain between the living room/bedroom, but we keep it open because we like the open feel. But, a true efficiency would have one big room for everything, then a separate bathroom.

think of them as dorm rooms with a kitchen and bathroom.

Some efficiency homes/apartments also means they are furnished.
May come with stove, fridge, washer, dryer, some even furniture. The most I’ve ever seen were open concepts like studios or where only the bathroom and bedroom were closed with walls.
Should ask them what all their “efficiencies” are that they offer.
