Beautiful! And lots of space, I would be very interested, haha. But it looks like something that would be a bit out of my price range in my area.

The side facing garage was the first thing I noticed. That’s definitely a huge point in it’s favor.

@Mrs_Amanda:  yes, I was going to mention the fact that it’s nice there is no mondo garage facing the street. That’s nice, and in my area that means the place is a litte more expensive because a little more land has gone into the build to allow fo that side garage entry.

But then, you are probably living on a street where at least some houses have garages face the street so you still have to look at them. But perhaps not.

    I hate big garage doors.

@MissLittleChicken:  I like the big window that goes down near to the floor, too. And the crown molding is nice. Personally, I like that pumpkin color! But paint is easy to change out.

The outside is bare but landscaping can make a huge difference! Just planting some vibrant colors would change it up quite a bit.

I think its a nice house and if it fitsin with your criteria, it’s worth a consideration.

That being said…buying a house is a big deal. I personally feel like you shouldn’t buy one unless you love it either as is or for the potentional you find in it.

I think it’s great.  I wish I could afford a house like that in my neighborhood!  We have a walk-in closet and whirlpool tub in our MBR and it’s sooo worth it–those are two features that are very expensive/difficult to add to a house that wasn’t built w/ them.

@Mrs_Amanda:  I really like it! One quick note, since I have this in my house, is that the white doors/banisters get dirty-looking FAST. If you have kids/are planning on kids I might reconsider those doors and banisters ASAP because I spend half my cleaning time just bleaching the damn doors and it’s just the two of us!

Cute, suburbia.  If the front door opens into the stairs it would be an automatic no for me (I’m Chinese and we’re really superstitious).

@Mrs_Amanda:  It’s awful. Next time we buy, there is no way I am having white accents. We are either buying without, or replacing them once we move in. I doubt we’ll be in this house for more than another 2 years so it’s not worth it to me at this point, but I really can’t stand them.

I think it’s really cute. I think if we were looking at homes I’d definitely be up to seeing this one, even though it’s not really my style- but what my style is doesn’t matter for the home that you end up buying.
