It screams “I’m a track home in the southern United States”.

    But it looks very nice!

The house is cute but there is ZERO privacy from the neighbors.  Why aren’t there any trees around there?  I would look for house on a larger lot with better landscaping potential.

I think it’s adorable.  If it was in our budget and a good location we’d def consider buying that house =P

I love the exterior–I’m a sucker for that style.  I think it needs a few big trees and maybe some ivy to lend character, and it’s a winner!

It’s nice, and definitely has potential.  We’re looking at houses too and we’ve realized that no house will be perfect, so we have to find one that has the things we want that can’t be changed (good location, basement, corner lot, etc.) and then we can work on the rest as we go.  That’s really helped us narrow it down.

I love the brick exterior, and really REALLY love that the garage isn’t front and centre when you approach the home.  I love an attached garage as much as the next guy, but I HATE it when the big garage door is the main focal point of the home.  It feels like being mooned by the house or something.

Some of the finishes are a little blah, but that’s to be expected in a staged home.  I’d paint the front door red, and change some of the interior colours (which I see you already plan to do) particularely where there is chair rail (painting the bottom a darker shade and the top a lighter one, or wallpapering either the top or bottom to give a nice custom look).

It screams BURBS! to me. But not in the bad “little houses made of ticky-tacky” kind of way, but in the “hey, this looks like a cute, homey house in a nice, quiet neighborhood good for raising kids that can ride their bikes around in the cul-de-sac” way. I’d live there! (I’d definitely remodel the inside a bit, though.)

It is a decent looking house. Nice kitchen!
