I was watching SYTTD recently and Randy asked “what type of bride do you want to be on your wedding day?” How would you answer that based on your dress?
Elegant and timeless…Vintage? Romantic? Fun, flirty, sexy, princess? What look are you going for? (Feel free to post pics!)

Classic, timeless, elegant. I was really looking for a classic style that would limit my thinking of “what in the world was I thinking??” in 10 or 20 years.

My dress matches my personality…elegant and classic with a modern twist and a splash of fun.

@ddubzz – Love you gown!
Hopefully mine says I’m traditional with a little vintage flair – these photos are from my second fitting – the lace on the back of my dress still needs to be taken in!

I think my dress spoke volumes. It reeked of simple elegance and IMO, so appropriate for the setting (garden) and our circumstances (older and not our first wedding). But truth be told, I chose the dress to match my veiled Victorian tea hat and Victorian-inspired lace boots. I was extremely pleased with what I ended up with and I can honestly say I have never seen a bride with an outfit even remotely close to what I wore. But I have always marched to the beat of a different drummer and why would I be any different on my wedding day?

I was watching this last night and thinking about the same thing! Justin Alexander 8465, you will (hopefully) say that I am: Quirky, Sophisticated, Vintage/Classic, Timeless, Elegant, Gorgeous, and Ready To Freakin’ Dance with Joy.
Check it out! These are the first pro pics of a real wedding that I’ve ever seen of my dress. I can’t wait!!!!

Classic (as in I want to still love it in 20 years!), simple, modern and a bit untraditional.

@October2010Bride: I adore the back! I was originally shopping for dresses with cap sleeves and keyhole backs because I love the look of a pretty lace on the back…

I love this thread! Everyone looks so beautiful and *happy*.
I was looking for something that matched my style…which is sort of a cross between modern & vintage. I love fashion and think it is so fun and I didn’t want to do something very traditional.
(After the ceremony, I removed the veil and added the black sash.)
