We got a cobalt chrome ring. Same durability and resistance as a tungsten, but not as heavy nor as dark. The color more closely resembles that of platinum. Fiance loves it. Can’t wait for him to wear it 24/7.

Here’s my fiance’s band…get to officially put it on in ONE MONTH from today! 🙂

It’s a Ritani band with a hammered center and swisscut coin edging. It’s in palladium, which is in the same family as platinum but is less dense. It was a LOT cheaper than platinum too which was nice!

He loves it…and so do I!

We saw this a year ago and he’s been set on it ever since! Stainless steel, and it’s fun for him to play with because all the parts move 🙂 I can’t wait to buy it for him!

We haven’t started ring shopping for him yet, but he’s dead set on having a “trinity ring,” which is the kind with three intertwined, freely moving metal bands.  Did anyone get one of those for their FH?

I’m not sure whether we’ll be able to find one at a jeweler, or whether we’ll need to get it made.

My hubz has a ceramic band. We were too scared that you can’t cut through tungsten. The ceramic is durable but you can snap it if you have to.

We went with a Scott Kay ring.  My Fiance wanted something that had a hammered look to it. The same look in gold was almost 1k and that is not something he were willing to spend on a ring. I think he likes it,  It has to be custom made because you cannot size it.  We bought the lifetime protection on it for that exact reason.  If you ever need to have the ring resized or whatever its free.

I found a hammered white gold band that suited my husband’s taste – wide but thin!

@Dragonsus:very pretty, My Fiance loved the hammerd look too.  He didn’t want anything with diamonds in it but wanted something unique.

This is what my hubby is wearing right now Laughing The ring is white gold. One of the reasons we chose this design is because it had milgrain on it (beaded edge). My engagement ring and wedding band also have this detail so we felt that it tied all of our rings together through the milgrain detail.
