@MsSparklyBee:  nice!! Must be nice having someone who can cook delicious food!!

My SO is a product engineer for a car manufacturer. He does early detection and early resolution. He works on important safety issues and safety recalls. He gets to drive a different fleet car every 2 weeks and never has to pay for gas which I love! I know nothing about cars and luckily I have my own mechanic now :-).

My FH is an ER doc. This is perfect for me because I have been in the ER soooo many times, especially as a kid (because of severe asthma). I feel very comforted to have him around. I get to hear a lot of interesting stories too and learn a ton from him. I also wanted to be a doctor growing up, so I live vicariously through him. He is halfway through his residency now and his favorite shift is when he gets to work in the pediatric ER. He loves the babies! He calls them big eyes. He is powerless to the big eyes. It is so cute. He even carries a rubber toy with him to work for when he has little parients so he can distract them while he examins them.

My husband is an actor. Mostly doing background for tv and movies. It’s pretty fun to spot him on tv sometimes.

He used to be an insurance agent, but was laid off. He took it as an opportunity to try something new and it’s working out great for him.

My Fiance is a foot and ankle physician (podiatrist). I like to ask him random medical questions sometimes lol. We met right when he was starting his residency, and he recently proposed after finishing his residency and working for a few months.

My husband is an electrical engineering PhD student at Purdue University. He graduated undergrad in less than four years, and began grad-school in January of 2012. I am beyond proud of all he does.

My boyfriend works in finance here in NYC. He does work on Wall St but he’s not a trader or an acct manager, thank god.  He doesn’t love it but he’s super good at it so he only has to operate at about 30% to be successful, which I think he likes ha. I DO love that he has a job that pays him well and is slightly challenging but that he is also able to leave it at the office (which is exceptionally rare here in nyc.)

He also moonlights as a guest bartender/food blogger and we have pipe dreams of opening a bar someday.
