Riley is the first one in bed and last one out! He hates getting up before 9 am!

My cat watches TV. He will sit right in front of it entranced for like 20 minutes. He also loves to stick his head in the toilet when it’s flushing… he’s so curious about it for some reason

@greenidlady:  My male dog Howard (lab, pit, border colie mix) thinks he is a lap dog, he’s not small at all about 75-80 lbs. He will come and sit on you… whether you’re sitting on the floor, or laying down. I was laying on my stomach the other night ha just came and sat on my back… Made it pretty hard to get up Lol..

Also, he HATES Ted, you know the movie. Anytime it is on he sits in front of the TV, barking and growling and pacing… Mind you he is NOT a barker at all. Before this he probably barks like once a month…and I mean a single bark Lol

My Pit Bull is extremely comical, IMO. He is just the clumsiest dog that has ever existed. He can’t do even simple things like running to other side of the room without looking like a total doof.

He also does the pit bull flat lay… where he lays on his belly with his legs sprawled out flat. I had never seen a dog do it before him and I still think it’s so funny. His back legs look like chicken legs.

Also, we have a front living room window that the bottom is just his height… he likes to stand by it and rest his chin on the window sill while poking through just one blind with his nose to see outside. It’s like he’s trying to be really stealth. (Which is possible because most of the time it’s cats that he’s watching outside and if they see him through the window they run). It’s hilarious.

@Twyla_Smith:  the dog we had when I was growing up loved lions on TV too! if we were ever channel surfing and found something about lions we’d call her in and let her watch it because it was so much more entertaining than any tv show. she’d stand on the end of the couch and be completely tense the whole time, with the fur on the back of her neck standing up. she watched them so intently and responded to every movement, then when the ads came on she’d run off and get a drink. only ever cared about lions! nothing else.

the drink thing made me think of her other weird behaviour… she would never just drink water like a normal dog. she preferred to stand there and paw at the water until the splashes were big enough that she could catch them in her mouth. it was very messy! sometimes she’d get really into it and stand with her front two legs in the water bowl and splash away, barking and biting at the water. we were worried she wasn’t actually drinking any of it but if you watched closely she was actually swallowing plenty of water.. she just had her own ridiculous way of doing it!

My dog likes to hump my husbands leg every night after he eats but when dh doesnt let him he then runs in a circle and chases his tail for like a minute straight.  It is hysterical me and dh crack up every time.

@TammieRei: So cute!! What kind of dog is Forest? He looks a little like my Bella. She was a shelter pup and they just told me she was a chihuahua mix, but no ideas on what she’s mixed with.

My Jack Russell is insistent upon being held like this:

And you can ONLY hold her on your left side or right in the center of your chest (with her facing outwards just like that). If you try to put her on your right side, she gets all fidgety and won’t stay still.

Since that’s not the most flattering picture of her, here’s one that redeems her cuteness. And she’s not really that chunky!

My Dane girl, Lillie is the biggest goof ball.

She is always coming up behind us when we are in a chair or on the couch and putting her paws on our shoulders from behind, all of a sudden her face pops up by yours lol.

She always chases her tail

she is always trying to “counter/sink surf”

she also loves to grab my pajama pants and socks and snuggle with them.

She likes to watch tv also.

She is VERY vocal, and talks to us and uses her “mad” voice with us when we return home lol

She is the biggest scardy cat, for her to be so big it is hilarious.

Danes are super goofy, I just love it

My lab mix likes to look disapproving.

He also likes to sit in chairs.

He likes to watch tv with us. While sitting on the coffee table.

He likes to sleep in odd positions.

Our older cat likes to sleep in sock drawers. She can open them herself.

Our pit mix, Gus, forces you to love him.

Hugo is the real entertainer in the family. Our two cats and Gus are pretty chill and normal animals.

@Bunni0929:  Your Nala looks just like my Minerva. They could be twins. Little white spot on the chest and everything. She doesn’t exactly approve of having her picture taken though.

@greenidlady:  We once gave our dog a slightly burnt pancake. He proudly took it in his mouth and buried it.
