Phone plans are so expensive, right?
SO and I each have a new LG G2 (amazing phone, my fave by a mile). We get unlimited talk and talk, plus 4 GB of data to share. Our phone plans cost $120/mo, so $60 each. The thing is, people tell us that’s a good deal. So, if that’s a good deal, what the heck is everyone else paying?
Answer the poll for ONE phone. If your bill is $300/mo, but that covers 3 phones, answer $100/mo etc. You get the drill…

I have a prepaid phone through US Cellular. It gives me unlimited talk and text for $30 a month. I find I can connect to wifi often enough and don’t really need data.

unlimited talk, text, and data was $60/mo. Now I’m on a family plan with fi so my line is $30. We have Sprint though, so coverage is horrible.

I have Verizon, 2 year contract. I have great service in my region (New England). I can talk on my phone deep in the bowels of Super Walmart.

I have AT&T. I have unlimited data and text and then unlimited calls to any cell phone (no matter what the provider, with 450 minutes to landlines (which I almost never call) it’s $80 after tax and school discount
Fiance has unlimited talk, text and data for $60 after discount and tax with Sprint.
so we basically pay $70 each

@IheartUFC: My plan is $60 (usually ends up being $65 though) for unlimited talk after 5 and on weekends(including long distance in Canada)/text/picture messaging. I have 1 gb data included in that plan. I’m with Virgin Mobile (satellite of Bell).
I’m (obviously) in Canada.

We pay $100 per month with T-Mobile for unlimited talk, text and 2.5 GB of data (each). So I guess it’s technically $50/phone. However, if you truly only have one phone on the plan it would be $60. We got a discount for putting two phones on the plan. And we don’t have a contract 🙂

Mine is $135/mo, but I have two phones on my plan, one of which is a smartphone with 2 gb/mo data allowance. Back before I had a smartphone and only one phone on the plan, I was paying around $50/mo for unlimited talk/text.

We both have smartphones (the LG G2). Poo to them for making smartphone plans pricier.

I am in Ontario, Canada, have a Galaxy S3 on the Bell network, and have unlimited evenings/weekends (local calling), unlimited text/picture messaging, Fave 10 #s with unlimited texting/calling to those numbers anytime, and 6GB of data for $80 a month, taxes and fees included.

I have an iPhone- very happy with it! I have unlimited text, weekends and evenings calls, 300 daytime minutes and 100MB data for $35/month. I dont use data much as I usually surf when connected to wifi.

I was paying about $80 a month for 400 minutes, unlimited text, and 2g of data through AT&T. Fiance and I recently too the plunge and switched to straight talk. Now I pay $45 a month for unlimited talk, text, and 2.5g of data. It was a great decision.

Free. My mom added me to her plan when I got divorced years ago but she refuses to take payments from me. I am going on my husband’s plan in June when the contract on my mom’s account expires. He pays $40 plustaxes to T-Mobile for unlimited talk, text, and internet. It will cost $30 to add a line for me then our combined bill will be $50 a month plus taxes. We use basic phones so we qualify for the base plans.

Walmart plan. $40 each on a family plan for unlimited talk, text, data. We bought our phones outright though, because we didn’t want to be locked in to a contract as there is a slim chance we might move to the UK or NZ next year (hopefully not though)
