(Closed) What dress fabric photographs the best? In your opinion, of course . . .

@Ms. Dove: I would say anything that isn’t a shiny fabric will photograph more easily. 

Shiny fabrics are going to bounce some of the light back, which is fine if you have perfect lighting conditions and your photographer doesn’t have to use flash.

But expecially indoors your photographer may need to use a flash (and a lot of your guests will use auto flash) shiny fabrics will bounce back some of the light and it doesn’t always look nice.

@tinylittlebird: Agreed. My dress was a sueded silk taffetta, and it photographed wonderfully because the fabric had some shimmer, but not much shine.
