This is making me laugh 🙂  Corgi, I got such a funny visual from you describing the way your man eats.  Made me literally LOL, had to explain to FH.

My dear darling Mr. Octo has you nailbiters beat…he picks at his nails.  Kind of like perpetually trying to pull off a hangnail, and it absolutely drives me bonkers.  He also can take a very long time to tell a story, which can get exasperating but is also totally endearing at the same time.  Aren’t they all just such goofballs??

Two things-

When he unloads the dishwasher, he can’t ever seem to put the tupperware in that specific cupboard, instead they are stacked all over the other various cupboards.  Silly, but I’m mostly over it.

He gets out of the shower and drips all over the living room tile, next thing I know I walk past and slide into a wall.

@little octopus- glad you liked that. it is seriously ridiculous. sometimes i just stare at him in awe like…. how the hell can you need to lick you (second) knuckles when we’re eating a sandwich? its a sandwich for godsake! lol. To appease me he now washes his hands as soon as he’s done eating (i get grossed out by sticky fingers). He told me the other day that someone at work mentioned his er… unique… eating habits and he told them i hated it too and *make* him wash his hands when he’s done eating! Thanks hun, now your coworkers think I’m a total dictator. lol.

@naangel55- my guy is the same way. he watches it all (including hockey) as well. I actually kind of like it most of the year though. I need a bit of “alone time” to just watch the tv he hates and chill on my computer. I can look at the espn guide and know months in advance when I have a night free! The only time that really stinks is pro football season. he does fantasy so every. single. game. is important. 🙂

Like Mouse, he has piles of things EVERYWHERE!! Papers don’t go in designated places, walking around  his bedroom (we don’t live together) is like trying to avoid landmines of both clean and dirty laundry!

The Hubs likes to leave a pile of laundry on the floor on his side of the bed.  I never know if these clothes are clean or dirty and/or if they should be in the dresser or laundry hamper.  I’ve asked him about it, but for whatever reason, the piles always return.

Jessie516 – my Fiance does this too! Every day…I say…”that’s not where the laundry goes!”

@CorgiTales- My fiance does not like us to not go to bed together, so usually I lie in bed and piddle on the computer. He’d rather that than me be in the other room and piddle. Oi.

@50 I don’t think he likes it, but he deals with it. I guess I could take my computer to bed but it never really occurred to me. I don’t like to watch tv with a chorus of snoring (once bf goes to sleep he sounds like someone trying to start a push mower).

OH MY GOODNESS. I would die. I HATE snoring. I’m so glad he doesn’t snore. I told him when we first met that if he snored I would smother him with a pillow in his sleep.

I have not had to use that pillow yet. lol

goodness…my Fiance snores like mad. Yesterday I was watching TV in bed while he was sleeping and it got so loud that I pinches his nose for a sec…and he stopped. For like a minute.

Hubby likes to wiggle a lot. Usually I don’t mind, but if he’s next to me and he’s making the couch or bed wiggle and I’m trying to read (usually small print) and it’s moving around and then it drives me nuts! His video-gaming annoys me a bit, but now that he has a game he’s addicted to on psp, at least he is next to me while he plays lol The music being too loud gets annoying sometimes, but it’s not so bad.

I also like to go to bed together, but I’m usually the one that goes to bed early :p I also prefer him to piddle in bed next to me lol I guess I’m odd :p I just sleep better when he’s next to me, even if he’s not going to sleep.

he breathes out of his nose loudly every once in a while…i guess he’s trying to stop it from tickling.  i call him “whale” when he does this, so now he thinks its funny and does it all. the. time.  so now i do it to him, in his ear 😉 i’m evil.

1) chews on the skin around his fingernails. A lot. Big, nasty, sores. Why?!?!

2) He can be a little TOO old fashioned/conservative about things. Sometimes he comes up with things and I’m like, “okay, GRANDPA”

3) snores when he’s sick. I make him take TONS of zicam.

4) He’s good about trying new foods (california rolls for example) but unfortunately he usually ends up spitting it up at the table like a 2 year old. Kinda gross.

@His Barista: I ENTIRELY understand about WOW.  My fiance used to play nearly all the time when I’d talk to him on the phone (we live an hour apart) and it drove me crazy.  Then his computer crashed…and I was perhaps quite selfishly relieved.

He also gets really into sports.  I don’t understand it.  He’ll be watching football and yelling at refs and I don’t even know why.

I hope we don’t have cable in our apartment.
