We’re in the process of negotiating with the venue before putting our deposit down. It’s a pretty in demand venue but we’re doing it in the off season so we’re getting a pretty amazing all-inclusive package. It includes hot cider when guests arrive, full open bar from 4:30-12:30 including premium liquor, shots, cocktails, unlimited passed hors d’oeuvres, 3 course meal that guests get to choose the day of, and late night station with poutine, wedding cake cutting, coffee and tea. Guests get a warm apple turnover to take home as the favour.
Price is $110 a person plus tax and grat but I’d like to negotiate a bit. (I’ve gotten lots of other quotes in the same area and that’s competitive.) The venue won’t move on price, but will throw in extras. So far she has approved throwing in a champagne toast and including liquers like Bailey’s in the bar. What else have you bees got thrown in??? I don’t even know what to ask for…I feel like we have everything we want but if we get more stuff, why the heck not.
