We used honeyfund.com to register for our honeymoon.  It’s basically a way to compile money for your trip.  You go on there and assign values to each activity you have.  For example, for a $3000 room, you can ask for 30 donations of $100.  Or for a romatic dinner, ask for 2 donations of $50.  Instead of just writing you a check for say $200 to put in your savings accounts, your guests can put that $200 towards a couples massage or ziplining on your honeymoon.  Now essentially, that money is just going into your savings account but its a great choice for guests who want to give you something specific.  Our guests really liked it and we got every single thing from our honeymoon registry.

You have to have an idea of where you want to go, then you can make of list of thing you want to do and basically people purchase something that they want for you but ultimately it goes into your bank acct.

I am using http://www.honeyfund.com

it will have a small fee per person which is basically the same as shipping for something you would buy online and get shipped.
