(Closed) What expecting father books do you suggest?

@Hippos:  I wish I could find one that doesn’t have sports analogies or he-man pandering. My husband is currently reading My Boys Can Swim!, which is a little too stupid for his tastes. 

The best thing I’ve found is a blog called The Daddy Complex. The author has a sense of humor . It is less about childbirth and more about living with kids, though. He should have some pregnancy and childbirth posts up there somewhere — look under the pregnancy tag for some stuff.

Honestly, my Darling Husband has done a lot better with websites that have info about childbirth. That might work for your Darling Husband too.

I gave Darling Husband a copy of The Baby Owner’s Manual. It’s cute!

My doula and midwife both recommended The Birth Partner by Penny Simkin. Darling Husband is only a few pages in and I don’t think he’ll finish the whole book (he’s not a reader) but he does say it’s interesting. The book has gotten really good reviews.
