I love everything fall & thanksgiving. I love pumpkin farms, wreaths, cinnamon soaps and scents and all that jazz.
I am planning on doing a huge autumn wreath on the door and window candles. Also, I have already bought a bunch of pumkin, vanilla, cinnamon and pine scented soaps for all the bathrooms and some candles.
These are examples of the window candles and wreath:
…I am not very creative so I can’t think of too much else.
What are your plans?

I love pumpkins, so we just bought a new pumpkin door mat and I will put out our little scarecrow Welcome wreath on the front door. Then I’ll put some yellow mums on the front steps. Right before Halloween (about a week or two before) my husband gets to hang up his scary skeleton thingy (yuck! lol) out front which he loves. I also have a cute Autumn flag I’ll put out. I love this time of year, too. It’s my favorite season. I just bought a new pumpkin candle and can’t wait to burn it!

I’m going to buy some pumpkin candles, and a nice fall wreath to hang over the fireplace mantle. I was thinking of getting some silk leaves, berries etc. and creating a nicely decorated mantle. I LOVE fall, and we are hosting Thanksgiving this year, so I’d like to make our place look nice!

@jules28: 1. great idea on the mantle decor! I think i’ll do candles and a garland for the mantle. 2. I am so jealous that you’re hosting Thanksgiving this year. I want to do this next year but I’ll have to fight my mom for it;)

We’re still unpacking boxes after almost 3 months of living in our house, so fall decor will have to wait until next year. LOL But next year will be a wreath on the door, 3 corn stalks on each post lining the front porch and the lamp post in the front garden, some straw bales, some barrel planters with mums, and lots of pumpkins and gourds from our vegetable garden. Our home’s interior design plan is already fairly fall-like because that is Mr. LK’s preferred pallette, so I’ll probably just add a few fall-ish items on the mantle and make other small additions to the house.

I love to decorate for halloween! We get those bags that are supposed to look like pumpkins when you fill them with leaves… theyre my fave! We also clean out our front planter and put styrofoam tombstones in there… I bought like 10 at the dollar store and used a pack of skewers to keep them in place…
We will of course have a large wreath on the door… and I have already busted out the fall candles!

We are living in a tiny rental so not much room to decorate but I just got a handmade fall table runner from my mother. She is so crafty and really good at quilting ao I will put that out. Other than that i just have a lot of autumn style candle displays and all the fall scents.

This is our first fall living together, so I’ve been really excited to decorate! I haven’t bought too many things lately…trying to be good, since we’re living on one income. I have some little turkeys that I’ve put up, and I love pumpkins! I just ordered this Scentsy warmer:
I also want to make a monogrammed pumpkin for us! I really need to get off of Pinterest. I saw a wreath that I really liked at Target…but Darling Husband loves our college football wreath that is hanging up, so we’ll see what we do! Other than that, I’m trying to be good! Oh, we also just got some fall/Halloween towels from Kohl’s.

Hmmm. We don’t really have any seasonal decorations other than Christmas-y stuff. But we usually put out a pumpkin and I was thinking about getting a couple of mums this year.
