I’m sure that what everyone loves most about their ring is the love and commitment that it symbolises, but one of the things I’ve also enjoyed since joining the Bee is seeing how expressive everyone’s rings are of their personality and style. So I thought I would start a fun thread to celebrate the features we love about our rings!
For me, I LOVE my pear-cut side stones and the way the band tapers to the points of the pears. Not a great pic but it’s the only one I’ve managed to load to WB!

@Audrey2: I love that mine is ethically sourced. I love that it’s a blue (sapphire). I love that it’s a claadagh, which represents love, loyalty & friendship. π

@Audrey2: I love the heart detail on the side of the solitaire setting! That’s why we picked it! π

I love that mine is moissanite and the cool story behind it. I also love how it fits me. It’s a simple solitaire and I’m a simple girl, and of course, I’m a big fan of cushion cuts. They’re classic but have a little something else too.
I’m sorry the pictures are so big. I STILL haven’t figured out why some of my pictures will resize and some won’t.

I LOVE that my rings are yellow gold, because gold is a big part of my life, childhood, and family. I love that my stones are moissanite. They are so sparkly and beautiful! And I love that my wedding band has bezeled stones and milgrain. The combination looks very feminine.

I love the colours in the stone – the yellow sapphire has a really deep, dark (almost brown) colour in the right lighting, and the diamonds are a brilliant white. The two contrasting together is just beautiful!

Most of all, that I’ll always be reminded of months he spent, hunting down the exact diamond and custom designing all the little details.

I love the intricate filigree work, the fact that it’s a round stone in a cushion halo makes it a bit more unique, and I love how the side diamonds get gradually smaller as they go down the ring.

I love my solitaire for so many reasons, but I think the thing I love most is that it works so well with my wedding band. I feel like both rings compliment and highlight the beauty of each other.

I love that the really long, tapered baguettes complement my round center stone and the round diamonds in my wedding band. It has a similar effect as a solitare, but with bling all across the top of the band. I also love the weight of the platinum.
