So jealous of that incentive program! (And proud of you for getting up early to work out. I get up at 5:30 for work, I couldn’t imagine trying to coax myself out of bed for exercise that early…)

I’m celebrating a loss of almost 23lbs (only 8 more to go to my goal weight)! I figured if I start early, I could find the time to tone up too. Gorgeous gams, arms and abs here I comeeeeee!

Congrats to both of you!  It feels so good to acheive goals.  I am down about 35 pounds since October and about 10 more pounds away from fitting into my skinny jeans (my goal from the beginning) and I can now walk all the way up the giant escalator at my metro stop without getting winded.

I met with a health counselor on Wednesday night.  She’s a friend of mine who has her masters in nutrition and is trying to begin a holistic health counseling business.  She counsels on food, fitness, and general mind and body health.  I have never thought about how the foods I eat can affect anything other than my weight.

I agreed to a six month program with her (meet twice a month).  My fitness goals are to reduce anxiety and to tone up before my wedding.  I am proud of myself for taking the time to do this and to focus on me for a bit : )

My Future Mother-In-Law just noticed that I’ve lost weight.  That’s an accomplishment since she’s usually the Debbie Downer!  🙂

I finally decided last Friday that I would stop snacking on so much junk (accursed office donuts and free chips!) and start eating more veggies. Me and my Fiance decided we would start working our arms out three days a week, and I’ve been doing that for two weeks and can see a bit of a difference already! Since Friday I’ve lost four pounds…I’m excited, but gearing myself up to plateau after 10-15 pounds because, well, that’s just what my body does. Grrr. But lifelong health is a better goal than immediate weight loss. 🙂

Great job, everyone! We can do it!

Congrats Miss AnnaLytical!!! You are doing great! If you hit a plateau switch up your work out and trick your body. Often after a few weeks our bodies tend to get used to what we are doing.. so instead of treadmill, do an aerobics class.. or stairmill.. it will freak your body out pushing you past the plateau. Also, often our bodies get used to a strict diet.. so if you have been perfect on your diet for awhile, have ONE cheat meal.. it also throws your body off and kick starts it again!

I am celebrating my 5.5 lb weight gain after surgery by going BACK to the gym to lose it!!! haha. It’s been torture sitting around on my butt for a month and it’s time to get moving. Everybody’s success stories are certainly inspirational! I tossed all the junk and treated myself to a bunch of healthy foods, so when I open my fridge, I can’t NOT eat something good for you.

I am training for a half marathon and this Saturday I did my third eight mile run and this time it wasn’t so hard. When I started training I was a jogger I’d say, I ran three miles five days a week but never went any further. It is amazing what your body can do. Congrats to everyone sounds like you are doing awesome!

My bridesmaid noticed my arms looking tone when we were out trying on shower outfits over the weekend.  Woohoo!!!  Today I’m wearing a short sleave shirt at work just admiring my new found muscles
