We had a 5 tier cake and each tiere was either vanillaor lemon, with a lemon buttercreme and a very very thin layer of fondant over the cake…delicious!  This is it…

Cheesecake!!!  Our main cake will be a red velvet cheesecake and then we’ll have a cheesecake buffet for the rest of the guests.  🙂

I’m still in the early planning stages (really early…like havn’t had my engagement party yet) but I know I’m getting White cake with Ricotta Filling and chocolate chips and Caramel Espresso Mousse Cake because they are the best cakes I have ever eaten!

Our cake is 4 tiers, all vanilla cake – 3 with rasberry filling and 1 with lemon. The grooms cake is chocolate with chocolate fudge filling. Both cakes have butter creme frosting.

We are having cupcakes with a cake at the top for cutting.

 

The top cake will be lemon cake swirled with death by chocolate cake. The cupcakes will be alternating flavours. The first flavour is lemon cake with rasberries and white chocolate, and the second flavour is lime and coconut.

ours is a 3 teir covered in the vanilla buttercream frosting

the bottom is vanilla poundcake with strawberry preserves.

the middle is coconut run with vanilla buttercream.

the top is chocolate with chocolate mousse.

I cannot wait to have a slice of each LOL

We kept it simple. I don’t really eat cake so it had to be really good.

 

Wedding cake: all Carrot with cream cheese filling and frosting.

Groom’s cake: Fat Chocolate with Raspberry filling and Chocolate Buttercream frosting

Picking our cake flavors/design was one of the most fun parts of wedding planning!  We ended up having 2 flavors – the first was chocolate cake with dulce de leche, espresso and chocolate buttercream. The second was white angelfood cake with blood orange, lemon and raspberry buttercream. Yum!
