Cookies and cream, strawberry and cream cheese, lemon, raspberry filling for white cake, red velvet, banana, carrot, apple spice, chocolate with peanut butter filling, funfetti, coconut, smore. And really, you can’t go wrong with chocolate and vanilla. I might do a couple of tame flavors then a couple more adventurous ones.

We had chocolate cherry ripe mud cake. We served it for dessert with cream and berries.

Mine is 3 tiers, bottom is choc mud, middle is white choc mud and the top is flourless orange and almond. YUM! I also have a fruit cake which will be served.

You may think they are boring flavours, but they are popular…ultimately you want the cake to get eaten and not end up in the bin!

@aussiebee:

Really, kladdkaka is typical Australian wedding cake? I would never have thought! I still can’t picture it tiered. It’s so flat. What do you put on it for frosting? I know when we make it, we either have it with whipped cream or vanilla sauce (so typically Swedish, the vanilla sauce), but neither of those seem like a good frosting for a wedding cake.

I love chocolate mud cake, especially when it is moist and melts in your mouth ๐Ÿ™‚ i agree with @chasesgirl:  have a couple non-adventurous tiers, and some more adventurous ๐Ÿ™‚

 A friend of mine did a four tier square mud with the chocolate ganache – deeeeeelicious!

This is our choc cherry ripe – we had ivory fondant.

Mine has three tiers: bottom has white with raspberry cream, middle has white with strawberry cream and top is white with lemon cream.

I am very excited for our cake!

Although the mud cake isn’t really flat ๐Ÿ™‚ Depends on how much mixture you put into the tin!

@mypinkshoes:  It’s just a really dense, but moist, chocolate cake. And it is delicious.
