Good Morning everyone!
I am known as the food lover of the family and just love cooking and trying out new recipies. There isn’t a time that am I not looking for something new to try and honestly, I am really looking forward to trying out new dishes for the menu!
My question to you lovely bees: What are you planning to have at your wedding? Will it be something simple like mini Grilled Cheese? or something fancy and yummy like Beef Wellington?
Will there be a vegetarian course included? What are your thoughts on including one?

Our entrees are:
Filet mignon with a red wine demi glaze
Spice rubbed Chilean Sea bass

Our venue is a high quality Italian restaurant and the food is included! We’re having a 4 course meal.
First course: Shared appetizers such as antipasta, stuffed mushrooms, lox and cream cheese on crackers, etc.
Second course: Salad
Third course: Choice of 5 entrees, either 1 of 2 types of pasta, salmon, chicken or beef tenderloin.
Fourth course: Cheesecake or chocolate mousse (plus wedding cake!)
We actually should probably get around to finalizing our menu…

Here’s our menu:
Mixed Garden Salad with choice of Two House Dressings, Fresh Seasonal Vegetables, served with Assorted Rolls and Wisconsin Butter
Tender Sautéed Chicken breast topped with Artichoke Hearts in a Chardonnay Butter Sauce. Served with our House Wild Rice Blend.
Eight Ounces of Filet of Sirloin Grilled to Perfection and Topped with Bleu Cheese Butter, Demi Glace and Thin Crispy Onions. Served with Roasted Garlic Red Mashed Potatoes.

The Kid’s meal is a great idea! I was debating on doing that for my wedding but wasn’t sure.

@Sweetpeaontheweddingbee7: It was delicious! Both Fiance and I loved it and knew we had to have it as an option right away during our tasting. The kids meal was included at our venue for no extra cost which I thought was great!

- Wedding: November 2013 - St. Augustine Beach, FL
We’re doing a BBQ Buffet with pulled pork, smoked chicken, and chopped beef brisket. Sides will be baked beans, mac & cheese, and salad.

Appetizer course – fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits w/ house-made granola and local yogurt from a creamery I’ve been frequenting since childhood!
Main course – choice of one of the following (pre-ordered before wedding):
1. Strawberry Cream Cheese-Stuffed French Toast w/ applewood smoked bacon and skillet potatoes
2. Classic quiche lorraine (bacon and cheese quiche) w/ baby greens salad & fresh fruit
3. 5 spice duck leg confit hash with crispy potatoes, roasted corn, and poached egg
Then, of course, there will be cake! and chocolate-covered strawberries 🙂 We have 3 flavors of cake:
bottom tier: champagne cake w/ raspberry godiva liqueure mousse filling
middle tier: chocolate cake w/ peanut butter mousse filling
top tier (which we ARE cutting): apple cider cake w/ caramel mousse filling
At the bar, we’ll have beer, wine, rail liquors, and 2 signature drinks: mimosas & bloody marys

@Sweetpeaontheweddingbee7: We are having just an unreal amount of food for the cocktail hour but for the main dinner we are having a choice of Chicken Marsala, Herb crusted tilapia, or prime rib au jus (sp?) haha can you tell I don’t care that much about the beed? Also each dish comes with vegtables, roasted potatoes, and a salad. For dessert besides the wedding cake we are having a waffle and ice cream bar!

Wow, this really popped out from your menu, I would love to try something similiar to that! I was also thinking about incorporating duck into my menu but hesistant since I had never eaten it before! (I know why include it lol)
