He has a submissive snarl.  So, if I tell him to do something and he obeys but doesn’t particularly want to, he snarls and sort of slithers on the ground.  I wish I had pictures but I’ve never been able to capture it no matter how hard I try!  He also does it when I come home and he’s done something bad like opening the fridge, getting into the trash, or somehow getting the fruit basket off the kitchen counter.  I know he’s done something wrong when I walk in the door and he’s already snarling, haha.  I will say “What did you do, Oliver?” in a sweet tone and he will roll onto his back at my feet.

He also likes to sleep in the laundry basket like a cat.

Your cats are too funny!  What’s their favorite things to watch?

I have a rabbit, and she growls when she doesn’t get her way, uses the litterbox, wakes me up by sticking her nose up my nose in the morning (eww!, I know!), and continually surprises me by what she will eat.  So far, cookies, hot dog buns, wine, and chocolate make the list. (I DO NOT feed them to her, she just grabs a bite before I can stop her.  I know these are not good for her.)

Our cat sneaks into the closet so she can curl up in the dirty laundry basket! But never wants anything to do with the clean laundry. She also tries to shower with you. My dog thinks he can talk. Like if you say, hey what are you doing? He’ll answer in these sounds, like a sentence. I can’t really explain it, but he does it anytime he’s addressed. I think he’s just trying to mimick the way our human sentences sound. He also waits until everyone is asleep to go steal items from around the house to hoard in his bed, haha. He will also get up on his hind legs and balance, stretching out his front legs to ask for a hug. And he won’t stop until you go wrap your arms around him (his arms over your shoulders).

We have a pet ball python who does not understand gravity. Seriously — he thinks that he can fly. If you put him on your shoulder or something, he will start to crawl towards objects on the other side of the room, off into space, until he falls to the ground.

I’m like ‘ring ring, Darwin called.’ Idiot.

@Carolinejane:  I love the cat and rabbit eating together!  Does the cat think he’s a rabbit?

@missbeachbum:  Hahaha my mom’s old St. Bernard used to sit on the couch like a person. He was so tall that he could just back up and sit his arse on the couch with his front legs on the floor. The dogs were NOT allowed on the couch, but no amount of yelling/scolding/spraying with bitter apple would convince Dice that this behavior was considered bad. So … that’s just how he sat. And god forbid a human dared sit in his spot! Apparently St. Bernards can be lap dogs when they so choose!

My one cat likes to sit like a human, she also growls like a dog when she wants her own way.  She love baskets and boxes and anything she can squeeze into.  She also knows when anything new enters the house and she HAS to lay on it and have a nap, whether it’s mail, shoes, clothes, anything.

My other cat loves to rip around the house full speed and smash into walls.  she runs laps to gain speed then slides across the floor and hits the wall.   She does this EVERY night.   She also loves to lick armpits…. it’s kinda nasty.

both my cats are very very chatty and i swear we can have a full conversation with them.

I will never be able to take apicture of my FI’s dog doing something totally hilarious…

He will fart loud and then whiplash, he’ll turn to look at his butt “What the hell was that?”
