 Rubellite 🙂

I also love emeralds, as they are my birthstone…

I’ve loved blue sapphires as long as I can remember (thank you Princess Di!) and I have always always wanted a sapphire ring. Sigh. Maybe someday.

I’ve recently developed a huge crush on violet sapphires and colour change sapphires.

And aquamarines.

Ok, really anything bluey. 🙂

London blue topaz and padparadscha sapphires. I love anything shiny and sparkly so I tend not to be picky, but these are the two that have fascinated me the most lately.

@letigre:  In the right setting (think channel) and with proper care, tsavorites should be a fine stone to use in a ring.  Just don’t expect them to last very long in very exposed settings if you wear your ring daily and are rough on it.

(I’m obsessed with tsavorite, too.  I just picked up my tsavorite replacement engagement ring today.  The jeweler was pretty good about designing a setting that will protect the stone while still letting light in to show off the color.)

I’m in love with opals, padparadscha sapphires, apatite… andesine labradorite is also insanely cool. Peachy pink to deep red with minty green flashes.

Love love love this thread!!! Ive always loved garnets since they are my birthstone but I got a chance to go mining in North Carolina a few years ago and developed a love for citrine as well and am still looking for a reputable place to take the stone I mined and turn them into jewelry so if any bees know of any where let me know!! @futuredratkins you may have started a new obsession of mine! That color changing sapphire is gorgeous!!
