I have a massive thing for yellow diamonds, almandine garnets, blue sapphires (not the really bright ones, but darker ones, similar to the colour of the Tardis), and seed pearls. I love most coloured gems, though. I could never get into colourless stones

For me it is garnets and aquamarine (both mine and SO birthstones) though I like many other gems as well. Opal is another favourite.

ST, need your opinion. Do I go with white gold milgrain bezel setting (emerald centre, FB moissy sides) or two tone yellow and white gold milgrain bezel setting (emerald centre and yellow moissy sides)? Aaack, I like both versions of the ring!

Paraiba tourmaline, padparadscha sapphires, rhodolite garnets, gray spinel (or anything gray) and sapphires are my current obsessions. (Luckily Rhodolite is pretty affordable, when you can find it, so I can have at least one of them!)

Honestly… ALL OF THEM.
I love garnets. I love emeralds. I love yellow diamonds. I love sapphires. I used to have a pair of alexandrite earrings, and they got lost 🙁 I was like, 11 and I am still sad…
I love the classic look of pearls, and I love morganite (in white gold AND rose gold, but especially in rose gold!) I love any stone that’s a shade of blue or purple!!
So yeah…. all of it.

I would love a canary diamond one day! They’re absolutely amazing!
Shiny is always
the right answer! Love your screen name!
The amount of amazing in that Opal is out of this world! *drool*
My original idea for my engagement ring would have been a stone my SO and I found our selves! We never got around to it though 🙁 hopefully we’ll do that for an anniversary though!
Your rings are GORGEOUS! That blue diamond is stunning! I think I truly love every single gem out there! I haven’t seen my birthstone in a fantastic setting yet (Peridot!) but I’m sure it exists!

Opals are my favorite. But I’m also very into sapphires and emeralds. And rubies. I love them all. 😉

Morganite + rose gold is stunning! It honestly looks so chic and elegant, but still unique! I too love all the gems! Natural and man-made, come at me!

I compleley agree! I have been considering a morganite and rose gold wedding band!

Alexandrite! It’s my birthstone. The color change is gorgeous.
