Husband loves it, I love it… however I feel like it is a feminine name and we are having a boy.
My mom agrees its a girls name. Darling Husband is adament that its neutral and really loves it.

The only Hadley I ever knew IRL was a girl. But it’s so unusual, I think it could be gender-neutral.

I’ve never heard it before, but it sounds more like a boy’s name to me.

definitely a girl’s name.

Do you like Bradley? That’s similar and definitely a oy name.
I would assume a Hadley I’ve never met was a girl.

MrsTeasandkeys: There are many names out there that have people thinking whether its a boy or girl…..Ashley, Sam, Skylar, Phoenix, Sidney, Casey, Jesse, Riley etc etc (you get my point). Just choose something you both love, if you aren’t in love, maybe you could make it a middle name and find something you both love. Hearing the name Hadley, neither sex came to my mind but maybe its because I have a name that can be used as a boy or girls name. I always get comments about “I wasn’t sure if I was expecting a male or female” when it comes to interviews.

I’ve only heard it as a girl’s name, but I think it could be gender neutral. I think I actually like it more for a boy!

Definitely a girl’s name to me.

MrsTeasandkeys: Definitely a neutral name. I feel like people are getting this girl vibe because it’s close to the name Hailey. But it sounds very neutral to me. It’s a last name. Last names are basically neutral.

I accidentally voted for Boy’s name but I definitely thought girl!

I’ve never heard it, and honestly I have no idea if it would be a boy or girl’s name. It sounds more like a last name.

MrsTeasandkeys: I am going to say girl because it is my cousin’s daughters name.

MrsTeasandkeys: I have never heard of someone using that as a girl’s name. To me it’s a surname or the name of a town, not a first name. . . but these days surnames seem to often be used as children’s first names.
I think it would be better as a boy’s name, if you really want to use it!
